Gordon Currie's 25 Years Of Marketing Experience

I have been in business since the early 80's. Bought my first computer in 1981 and started accessing bulletin boards and Compuserve (online service prior to the WWW). I learned all the tech stuff when it came to the internet but prior to browsers and "homepages". Words like USENET, BBS, Wildcat, Holonet. Since then we have seen a huge change in the opportunities presented to small business. And new ways of doing business and getting the word out.

Over the last few years, I have spent a few weeks and many evenings in December planning my next year's business plans and directions. December 2009 was awesome in that I had many new directions I was headed for in 2010. This was sidelined a bit when I was involved in an automobile accident in February 2010. As we come close to the end of 2010, I am once again trying hard to plan and take some new directions with my business. I am both excited, scared and curious to see how things go. It's going to be fun.
